The only hill of the course. It starts app. at 13.3 Mile, the elevation at the base is 3471 feet. The pic below is just about at the top at the 13.8 Mile with an elevation of 3593 feet. A 122 foot rise.

Over the McClay Bridge and your heading into Missoula

Under the Reserve Street bike Tunnel near mile 20 1/2 or mile 6 1/2 of the half marathon or and you enter the City of MISSOULA.
heading down 4th Ave. 
Tree lined streets 
Final turn is at the Missoulian then across the Higgins Ave. Bridge to the 2008 Finish Line. No cars on race day the bridge is closed for the Missoula Marathon.
